Heres a mystery for you JCF gurus:.
So i have a white Model 1a with single-ply 8-hole SSS pickguard. The pups look original vintage unbranded, pots look original. White finish, patina and pickguard holes look original.
It only has four screw holes drilled for mounting the tremelo. The trem is a older chrome fender style rather than the black ones on most Model 1a.
I would just think that the trem was replaced but i saw a what i was told was really early Model 1a with the same fender strat style.
the single ply guard, four trem mounting holes and unbranded pups make me think this is a really early piece.
original Neck plate is gone.
