  • A little Help with my Model 2

I have a custom painted Model 2. the headstock says Jackson but the seller tells me that is because the painter didn't have a Charvel stencil. How can I be certain of the origin/model of the guitar.

that's only 1 pic, it is too small to be of any use, and we would need different pics.

how can you be sure it is a Model 2 vs a US Strat or Warmoth or Fender...
      short of ripping it apart...
there really isn't anything you can do.

      It is a bolt on.
      It's been painted.
Even the headstock has been altered in some form.

Nothing short of taking it apart will mean anything. Even that, due to alterations, may not do anything.

Absolutely no way in hell to figure it out by that one tiny picture. Here's my Model 2 for reference.

Razor, that 30+ year old guitar looks like it's in excellent condition. I love it.

Thanks NOTP. I've had that one since close to when I joined the JCF. I'd have to go back but I'd say I picked it up in 2004 or 2005.
