      Try the 40mm and see. It should work, just will be a little closer to the body and not sit as high as the 42.

      When the USA Charvel line came back in like 2005, I had a Star with non-recessed Floyd with a 37mm block.
      I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

        Can't remember what block was on my pair of Gotoh's but they went straight in my Model 6's. And just to add - I have one of the last '88 Model 6's that has a Floyd nut from the factory.
        The only solution to GAS is DEATH...

          I wish mine had the Floyd nut!!!! It is a perfect guitar so I do not think I will modify that aspect of it.
