Getting the most out of the J50BC

Would anyone be able to guide me with this?

So I got frustrated and wired up just a full sized 500k volume pot to the J50bc. I don’t use any other positions on any guitar so I unwired the singles and tone control, mid boost control, and je1200. What I want is this…..

j50bc, je1200 with outboard 500k volume pot and the mids boost control pot. How would I go about wiring this?

BTW….I do like the sound I’m getting with just the 500k pot and J50. I really want to add the je1200 back in for a hotter sound when needed.

Ok so I think I’ve decided to try an obtain a J90c. I already know I love that pickup. I’d trade my J50 and the JE1200 board (it is missing the pot) for a J90c of you know anyone interested.
