  • JT6 spacing

So....I put a SD Trembucker in my Model 6, replacing the J50BC. I guess I assumed the JT6 string spacing was that of the Floyd Rose but I was wrong. My 1st string is way off. So my question is.....is the JT6 a non-trem spaced trem?? Hahahaha.

JT-6 is standard spacing as far as strings go, it's Gibson spaced not fender spaced

But a regular standard spaced humbucker will not fit the oversized Charvel ring though, right? The only reason the trembucker fits is because they are a little wider (the legs). Am I wrong?

You can put a standard pickup in a trembucker ring. This is why you see different screw holes in guitars that have had pickup changes. I Just would leave it as is, it's really not gonna effect your sound much if at all

Will a regular pick up fit in the Model 6 oversized ring, though?

Screw and springs will be at an angle and you will have space around the pickup which you could put black foam or cardboard under it so it doesn't look as bad, short answer yes
