  • Hello! STX Deluxe 1992

    New here!
Used to be part of Kramer forum and collected 80's Kramers, then went on a hiatus of guitars and playing, sold everything except a strat i put together.

Thats my story short, so hello everyone and here's the gem i picked up yesterday!

    mint condition and all original!
STX Deluxe ~1992 w/ fender headstock!
got some pretty sick specs as well, correct me if im wrong!:
-Gotoh jt-490 2-point tremolo with push-in arm, roller saddles and roller nut!
-j-92c humbucker and j-100vs stacked singles (havent confirmed these yet by taking the pickguard open)
-probably gotoh kluson style staggered vintage tuners

Have to give it some setup and new strings and its good to go.

Any idea of the real value of this guitar specifically with the fender strat headstock? Couldnt find any pics or videos with this model on the internet.
bought it to be my workhorse player, just intrested because i noticed its quite a rare find.

Yeah, JH-2 marking on the back of the humbucker, so its not j-92c. Singles had no markings but they were so tall i think they are stacked. Pickups sound so good im not gonna replace them.

This is probably going to be the first guitar ever that stays unmodified as its good as is.

Never seen an STX that had a strathead neck. No idea on value, but it's neat. I'd assume it's a Japanese only market guitar.

Very nice. At first glance it reminds me of a Fender Contemporary Strat with the unique bridge and nut. They were Fenders first foray into the super strat market. I's say very Charvel like at the time. Any way cool guitar. Toothpaste logo on a strathead. Must've been Japanese market like someone else said.
