here's a shot of my model 1 and 2 lineup... I just got the model 2's last week as a gift from a guitar collector friend. All 4 are really clean and stock.

I wish they'd offered the 2 with a maple board or sharks. Either way would be too cool. Course, how hard is it to clone one?

Did they ever make a Model 2 with a Maple board? That said can you take a maple neck from a Model 1 and install it on a Model 2 body?

Sure they did, it was called a model 2M.

Nope, won't fit because it doesn't have a locking nut.

So how rare are Model 2m's? Thats what I really want, or a 3A or 5A with a maple board (with locking nut) [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
