• Sparkly 375 here

So I got my 375 (sn 324427) from the eBay auction. Not a single mark anywhere on the body, neck or headstock. The only sign of age is some of the white on the pickup Jackson logos flaking off.

It's a little different from my other 375...this one has chrome hardware, including a Floyd-type bridge that doesn't have any markings on it...none of the usual patent numbers of logos or "licensed by" stuff. Also, metal Jackson tuners and pegs where my other had plastic. Last thing is that the back of the neck doesn't have the satin finish...it's more like the back of a stock Model series guitar. I also mentioned the lack of allen wrenches on the back of the headstock in an earlier post. Any thoughts on this? Were the early versions a bit different?

    I will post photos soon.

Well, VitaminG, there's going to be a bit of a delay. I took it to the tech this morning; he will be lavishing it with an excellent set-up and a Duncan JB in the bridge. Should be sweet!

I'm not an expert on the "script logod" Charvels, but I don't remember ever seeing a 375 with chrome hardware. Also, all the ones I remember had the Schaller type bridge with the Charvel script logo I thought (JT500?). Get the pics!

Yes. This fits my recollection, too. Definitely a few odd differences. This <font color="red">link </font> will take you to the photos from the eBay auction. Just to tide you guys over 'till it comes back from the tech...I'm definitely interested in hearing what some of the serious techies here have to say about the variations.

Looks like a 375 to me. Should have a Charvel logoed Schaller bridge. Nice guitars
