Anyway, I got a used Model A off of eBay and have been impressed with it so far. Looks just like the black one posted above. I'm using a Mesa Rectoverb and have been able to get an okay clean sound out of the guitar (a little dirty, but not too harsh). The only thing I really don't like about it, I guess, is the headstock, but I'm using it as my backup, so no bother. Oh, and I guess it would have been nice to have an easier way to get into the control panel. I'm thinking about buying some velcro strips so I won't have to keep using that tiny allen wrench to change the batteries. Other than that, I think it plays great, and it's definitely a good find for under $500.
