Charvel Identification: Model 6 or Fusion?

*Im posting this for another guy on another forum*

Can you help me? I need to know about this guitar. Basically, just the year it was made, and what is the model number, and whatever fun tidbits you have about this guitar. Im sorry about the size of the pics, but thats all I have.

I thought it was a fusion at first, but its Neck-Through, which has thrown me off and I think its some sort of abstract Model 6.

It looks to me like a model 5FX.It haveing a JT6 trem and the serial starting with a 8 it should be a 1988 model year.

ALL Model 6s are HSS, bound neck and headstock
and sharkies on the board.

Don't forget that a Fusion is bolt-on.
