    Have any of you guys done this?

    Ever mounted a Flord Rose locking nut to a Model 1 neck? Is it possible? And if so, how would one go about doing it?

    Pics would be helpful if any are out there. Thanks as always.

      It can be done, but a platform would have to be built for the nut to rest on.

        They have "behind the nut" floyd locking mechanisms, that would be easier than a conversion. www.allparts.com has both the old kahler types and Floyd rose locking mechanisms.

          Tekky has done this as I just asked him last week. Simple mod apparently. I will be doing the exact same thing once I find suitable donor parts.
