• Body (and Neck) wood on the old Model 4 and 5

Hello, I'm new to this forum (I apologize if this is discussed in other threads - couldn't find it using search), and I've been playing a Charvel Model 4 since I purchased it new in 1988. I recently picked up a Model 5 - and I realized that I had no idea what either of the Charvels were made of.

So, I figured I'd ask the forum.

Does anyone here know what body wood or neck wood was used in the building of these guitars?

    Thanks for any response

    -Rob

RacerR, do you also do spelling and general phonics corrections? If so, please submit your application to the admins. Our present employee really seems to be slacking lately so a position may be open.

Mark, it could be that RacerR is an edited version (of our well known and adult rated member) that has received an "R" rating by the MPAA (and therefore, under 17 requires a parent or guardian)

Oh, and welcome Rob many think (and I agree) that the Model series are great guitars, especially for the money.

Welcome Rob, A+ for using search, but uh, let's see some pics of your Charvels, huh?
