question about converting a model 4 to lefty

can i change the floyd rose style tremolo to a lefty floyd rose with out having to cut anything?
i can flip the strings around to make it so i can play it but i thought it would be nice to have a lefty trem in it since i have to replace the orginal tremolo anyway.

you will most likely have to route out some material to make way for the trem arm mounting underneath. A tech should be able to do it for a few bucks.

Or you could just leave it the way it is and use the righty trem.

SRV used a lefty trem on his strats and didn't seem to have any problems!
