Thanks for the responses! I loved the description as well.
The seller is really cool. I let 2 black Model 1s get away
from me on the bay in the last few weeks. Something
about the black single hum and the maple board just strikes

I've never heard a Lawrence pickup. If I don't like it, I think I might try a Duncan Live Wire.

IMO the Lawrence is a GREAT pup. The Duncan is also very nice. Its kind of an apples and oranges thing. 2 totally different sounding pups. I have a Lawrence in one of my strats and it KICKS. Very warm tone.
