In your profile you should enter "Pawnshop Heaven" as your location! Pawnshops here all carry crap & seem to price their stuff based on the highest recent eBay sale. Congrats on the great scores & welcome to the board! Well, we're talking fusion here man... I can't measure the scale from here, but the 375 and the 475 were 22-fretters...

I believe we're looking at a Charvel Fusion custom (1989-1991). In regards to the paint being original... well, I'm still not sure about that.

I've seen a Fusion Custom with a very similar finish f/s on ebay. IIrc, it was in the UK. Maybe different colors were available there, and this one was special ordered or otherwise brought over? It's an extremely attractive finish, no matter what.

Umm... That's a factory paintjob. Funny that anyone would think that it wasn't. Nobody is gonna relogo a Charvel import professionally, besides Metalflakes like that were popular in 90-91 and you all know about MIJs. There is a LOT of stuff they did that was never documented.

I could have been wrong about the scale of 25 1/2"
I measured it before I intonated it, I had to move every saddle toward the pickups around 3/4" to achieve it.
It doesn't feel like a 24 3/4" scale but could be? Most Les Paul scale guitars have a reduced tention feel to them.
I will measure the scale again,But my tape measure is in the truck and it's below Zero outside now.Super Cold!!
That would explain alot, the Original Floyd was set for 25 1/2" and I had to do alot of setting up on it to achieve perfect Intonation..
And I'm certain that the Paint is original, Looks Factory, The Logo is smooth and is coated with clear over it.
Looks like the Guitar was worth the initial $79.95 investment.
But was total crap when he bought it, The PawnBroker couldn't get it to play correctly as it was put together by a Boob..
My Son asked if I could FIX IT, And I told him I could set it up, I've found that most Charvel/Jacksons play best with .009"-.042" & three trem springs installed .
Beretta92 in PawnShop Heaven!!
Note: Pink Hanging Tag, says $79.95 Includes Case..

The only 24-fret import Charvel bolt-on was the Fusion, so it has to be one of those. Could be the Fusion Custom, but also maybe the Fusion Plus? They had four different Fusion models, so it's difficult to keep them straight.

Whatever the case, that's a sweet guitar at an amazing price!

Fusion Plus is a double humbucker config.

That's definitely a Fusion Custom. I have one in red metal flake and one in blue metal flake. Never seen a green one though.

This one's been modified big-time though. Pickups were changed, shielding added, OFR added.

The original would have 2 J200R pickups and a J85. Trem would be a 590. 1 tone, 1 volume, 5 way switch.

Great score!

Yes, a Fusion Custom. 24 frets, lower bout scoop and matching coloured headstock. See how much space there isn't between the bridge and middle pickup? It's a Shortscale and 24 fret guitar.

It's a Fusion 24 3/4" scale Just measured it.
So it seems it's a 1989-1991 Fusion Custom
A good score no matter what it is..
And it's had the JB Duncan and the preamp installed aftermarket + The Original Chrome Floyd Rose

Remember though, the lower bout scoop is not indicative of just the fusion body. Some of the Dinkies of that era had them as well.
