375 deluxe pup replacement hlp req

i want to change pickups in my 375 deluxe but unsure whats suitable, has nayone tried different pups and what were there conclusions ie brand model etc.i have a sd invader at the bridge and the original jackson J100 single coils neck and middle. the duncan is ok but i find it doesnt have enough top for me, although it rocks nicely. so id like to change the singles really as they hum slightly and id like to get rid of that. suggestions please

I'd go for a Seymour Duncan Distortion in the bridge and two Stacked Classics in the middle and neck positions... (or substitute the Duncan Distortion for the JB)

Yeah, the Duncan Distortion is my favourite pickup, it really suits my Charvel 475DLX. For the middle and neck positions I'd go either for the Duncan Stacked Classics or a couple of Dimarzio HS3's.

I'll send another vote for the Distortion (as if anyone thought anything less from me). The only fear I would have on the Classic stacks would be an output difference between them and the Distortion. I've not used them before so I don't really know. I'm a fan of the Rails line of pickups. Hot Rails if you want metal/shred, Cool Rails if you want blues/rock, and Vintage Rails if you want Stratty quack.

My 375 sounds awesome with the Duncan JB. But there's nothing wrong with a Distortion, either.

APC persauder lead - for more tone, clarity, output, harmonics, sustain... the list goes on and on.

dimarzio super distortion if you want more of a classic metal 80's shred and thrash sound.

duncan distortion if you want a brighter, more "airy sound". from the DSD above.

I tried a distortion in my 375, and strangely, it really sounded like crap. It was really thin in that guitar. It sounds great in everything else, but that one guitar made it sucky.
