I've seen a few of the MIJ stratheads, and I think they were all Dinky bodies. They are later than the Model series. They have JT590s for the most part, though I think I saw one with a v-trem. Nice looking guitars. They were made in limited runs for Japanese dealers and are MIJ. The large, current Charvel logo kinda gives them away, but everything looks right on them, neck shape, headstock, skunk stripe, cavities, etc..The 2nd Amendment: America's Original Homeland Defense.Comment

I thought the only CX Series stratheads were non-US market guitars. hmm.... and I wasn't even thinking of them, but you're right that they had them. They also did several limited runs. One was all-natural, the other was a Jake E. Lee strathead in white.The 2nd Amendment: America's Original Homeland Defense.Comment

Friend at work got this one couple months ago. As Xeno says, Japan market only. It felt and looked just like a model series but with the strat headstock.
