Tell me about this Charvel please..

My guess:
-made in Japan?
-model 1 or 2?

And I'd like to know what you think of the way it looks.. it has a satin yellow color and I guess a dimarzio pick-up?
the neck is painted too

I'm thinking of maybe buying it.. but I haven't seen it in person yet.. and I don't know what a painted fingerboard feels like..

any opinions/thoughts/advice are welcome, thank you.

looks like a made in Japan Model 1. The finish is obviously not original, and I'm not sure how a painted fretboard would feel, but I imagine it would be similar to the finish on maple fretboards-probably start to wear off and look dirty after a while. The pup is most likely a Dimarzio of some sort-probably a super distortion (they are real popular ones).

To me, it looks like a banana with strings. When it comes to guitars, I'm really a fan of contrasts. With lighter bodies, I like darker fretboards and the inverse is also the case with me.

Yeah i totally agree. It looks like a lollypop. A rosewood neck would make it look SO much better. A creme colored knob would also look nice, match the pup.

Maybe my monitor is off, but that looks to me like the original paint on the body. I have several old Model series where the white paint has yellowed to this same color. I think the guitar looks cool myself.

I've got two Model 2s that are the same pearl white, but this one looks more creme to me.

Regarding the painted fingerboard, I have a Fernandes Star Wars guitar with a painted fretboard...and etaeniura is correct, it doesn't feel any different than a maple fingerboard with the 'laquer' finish on it....

hmm, buttercream vanilla.
I don't know for sure, but the body and neck to uniform to be a faded ivory. Usually there's some areas on the body that have splotched variance. It looks like a total refin to me..quite well done too, it does look like a creampop.
