Found it at a Pawn Shop...what is it?

It is a Red Charvel looks just like a strat, made in Japan little tag on the back, looks late 80's early 90's. Pickguard etc, Floyd Rose.

Serial# 3760##


Anyone shed any light on this guitar for me and an approximate value? They are asking $500.

Sounds like one of the model 3s, can't remember which one had the pickguard (3a?). If so, $500 is way too much.

Hard to tell, there's more questions to ask...

What' pickup configuration? When you say strat headstock, is it spot-on for a strat or is it a little more "curvy"?

Its a pretty good Strat copy. The guy at the shop said the guy who sold it to him said it was a "San Dimas model" I think not, it has a tag ont he back that says Japan.

It is a s/s/h config and the Bucker is on a slant. Black pickguard, red body. Jackson pickups. Incredible neck on it I must say. I just want to know what to offer, I think $500 is way too high but I dont know.

Its a dual and then 2 singles. Ill try to swing into the Pawn shop and take a pic.
