Well, I picked this up the other day with intentions of swapping out the stock lipstick tube pickups for some Seymour Duncan's but didn't know what type of pickup came in it originally. They are Kent Armstrongs and they actually sound "awesome".... I am very impressed. Anyway, after A LOT of work cleaning her up I present to ya'll my new Surcaster Standard. Thanks guys.... I am suprisingly impressed with it so far.... I can get a fantastic bluesy sound out of it all the way to a decent shred sound considering the pickups. The most amazing thing is the clean sound.... it almost sounds like my Taylor hooked up.... ahhh.... anyway.... I'll probably just take it apart and spray paint it..... did they ever make those in a 2-hum, w/o pickgard, and standard bridge or Floyd Rose model? that'd be cool, as it is pictured there, I am definitely not a fan of Surcasters...

I love the tailpiece on those surfcasters. I´m constantly checking ebay for an axe like that.
