    Thanks, I hunted that guitar for four years before I finally aquired it. Brooks outbid me on it once even. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

    From the pic, it looked like it may have had the same blue/green sparkle paintjob as mine. I've been dying to find another guitar out there with a smiliar paintjob, because I've been told it has appeared (rarely) on other instruments.

    Do you think that you'll be able to clear coat it and get it back to the original look, or is the original color a loss? That is a sweet looking color, I hope you can save it from the previous owner's butcher job.

      It looks possible to sand, rub and polishing the present clear coat to a decent result. It is very easy to sand to much so it is not easy work.
      However there are three major edge dings (1/2 inch area) where the paint is lost. I have tried to match the colour but that's not easy.
      So far it gets a bit to green once it has dried.
