Charvel cx series necks

I have my sights on a CX series neck for a replacement of my Model one's dead neck. Is it a good choice or should I keep looking. It has a locking nut and rosewood board. Were these made in Japan or somewhere else?

Made in Japan. They feel nothing like the Model Series necks so I would stay away from them. Also, why would you need a neck with a locking nut to replace a neck without a locking nut?

The reason why I was thinking of a lockinf nut was to put a Floyd on my Model 1. I figured the CX might be a bit of a silly choice, that's why I love this place!

Besides I think I got my Model 1s neck FIXED!! Whooo hooo!
