What is the logo on the headstock? Is there a pickguard?

At first thought I'm thinking a modified Model 1.

The Fort Worth, TX neckplate are often misconstrued as being USA. However, yes, it is an import. The USA manufacturing plants were/still are in California. (First San Dimas, then Ontario, now Corona) Charvel/Jackson's headquarters was in Texas. (Now in Arizona)

Yeah, they are made in Japan. Lots of people think they are made in Texas, just because of the Fort Worth PO box.

They came with little "Made in Japan" stickers. Finding a Charvel with one of those stickers on it is extremely rare though.

I bought a 1A off of ebay last year with the sticker still on it... of course, I took it off.

The neck pick up sounds like crap. I think I may pull it out along with the toggle. Any suggestions on materials to use to fill?
