I just bought a Charvel Neck Thru a few weeks ago and stumbled across this place. I think it's a Model 5FX, but all the pictures I have seen of this model do not have a tone control, which mine has. Everything else matches up.
Here's a quick description
1 Jackson HB in bridge Position
1 Slanted Jackson SC in neck position
JT-6 Tremolo
1 Vol, 1 Tone, and 3 Way gibson style switch.
Serial number starts with C8 which I think means 1988.
Is this a 5FX that someone added a tone control too.
I'll get pictures taken this weekend.
