The first bass guitar I've ever bought after over thirty year's guitar playing. NOS, no idea what the model designation is (neck through, active electronics) US$316 with the OHSC. A couple of very slight dings on the front and some finish scratches on the back, and the finish has faded a little. I bought it because it matches my Model 5A. Both champagne sparkle. Now to convince my band's bass player to use it while I use the 5A for our Van Halen numbers!

Re: Just picked up a Model series bass
Wow, a matched pair--awesome, dude!!!
I had a USA Jackson bass very much like your Model 3B (except mine had EMG pickups), and I have to tell you, they are a very brutal, blunt instrument. Great for pick-style metal playing, but not something you'd ever use for funk or pop.
Plus, those old-school Jackson bass headstocks are so huge, that you really could turn the thing over and play hockey with it!
