• What colors were model 2s offered in?

I've only seen 'in person' blue, red and white... what other colors were there? I had a catalog from '87, lost it in a move.

I've had a red one and still own my black one. I'm gonna say

Black
Red

Blue

Looks like Donnie's right on. Pete, I just dug this catalog scan up for another thread. I think it's from the '87 catalog, thanks to Keith (axtogrind):

It says Black, Red, Pearl White, Electric Blue. I would swear that I've seen one in Cobalt Blue (the darker blue), though. I think sometimes the catalogs don't tell the whole story about the colors, especially later on with the toothpaste models. In '88 they added Burgundy Mist (metallic pink), but I don't know whether any Model 2s came in that color.

Isn't there a Candy Apple red also?

Yeah, there is a Dark Metallic Red, and then a Bright Red.

<font color="aqua">Yes, metallic red was definitely a color in 87-88 as this was all original when I got it. It now has the maple neck with the black binding on it, that you see in the pic:
