Charvel 3B basses..

i just bought one for 150.00.. the serial starts with "C0xxxx", should i assume that this is a 1990 model?? it's a gold decal under the finish on the back of the headstock.. it also has the small logo on the headstock.. it is all stock, i'd just like to know more about the years that it was made, the production numbers, retail price, and variations on them (colors, woods, etc).. i've noticed that the pickup selector switch is different on the earlier (mid-80's) 3Bs..

also, what is the maximum voltage for the JE-2000 active pickups?? i know that EMGs will tolerate up to 27v.. are there any schematics for the JE-2000 available??

But no, that is not correct. The Model series were made between 1986 and 1988. What logo is it, the script or the guitar?

the guitar. "made by Jackson/Charvel" under the logo.

OK, so it would be from '86-88. The script logo is from '89-91.

The original price was US$849.99 for the bass and US$149.99 for the case.

I picked mine up for US$340 NOS with the case.
