Just joined the Charvel family too!

Greetings! I am new to this forum and want to say I really appreciate the phenominal weath of information available on this site. Thank you.

I just purchased my first Charvel Mod 2, extra clean, with rosewood and it took me back instantly, I started playing some White Lion Vito Bratta lick I learned back then. This thing plays great and looks great without a scratch and with its dark red (maroon) color. I will post pics soon but wanted to let you know I joined the fun.
Its funny, back in the day I put togehter mutts from parts that I had laying around and although they really didn't sound or play bad, this little import is made well, looks good and plays great. It actually plays better than most of my higher dollar axes that I have now.. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I need to do a good setup and maybe for the future replace the pickup, maybe the trem but ya know...the pickup sounds decent. Good amount of gain, decent tone...I am definitley digging it!

I used to have a model 2 in pepto bismal pink. I loved that guitar. For the price, you can't beat those!

Hard to go wrong with a model 2. I have 2 white ones right now, and I would have no problem getting another if the price was right just to have an assortment of pickups in each one.
