Yeah, but one has a Distortion/Full Shred with a 5 way and the other has a pair of Distortions with individual volumes and no tone control. Redundancy be damned!

I think a 0.09-0.42 string set is just wrong for this guitar. But I originally thought that this guitar had 25.5" scale, I just hate the feel of a 0.09 set on a 24.75" scale guitar. When I got this guitar from ebay I originally wanted to bid on a Charvel Spectrum (dark blue metallic color)which went away for about $160 (damn!) but I missed that one as I had completely forgotten to bid on time, so I just felt angry and bid on the Charvel 750XL which I got quite cheaply. I think in the end I am luckier with the 750XL than I would have been with the Spectrum. This guitar reminds me visually of the Jackson Fusion Pro I always wanted.

I string my 750xl's (and all my other 24.75" guitars) up with 11's tuned to standard A440. My 25.5" guitars are strung with 11's 1/2 step down. The tone is there.

Technically the 750xl is a set neck with a contoured heel. But it is indeed a thing of beauty.
