Amazing fretboard on my 4

A friend of mine saw it and thought it was ebony. I'm pretty sure it's rosewood but it does look a little dark. The picture doesn't do it justice really, I'll see if I can take a better one. Thoughts or similar thoughts on yours?
*edit* the picture is WAY too big, let me try to adjust it a bit...

the rosewood on my KE3 got so dark after I oiled it, it looks like ebony too. It's still that dark months after. Man do I love Jacksons.

Nice neck. Usually ebony isn't as porous as your rosewood neck there. There isn't much grain in the wood either, the best of ebony boards are black with no pores and no grain.

The fretboard on my 4 is so dark, it looks like ebony, too.

Once again, we all agree that late 80s/early 90s model and toothpaste series are amazing bang for bucks :biglaugh: thank you all.

These guitars are legends. I'm so proud to own one.
