<font color="aqua">Got this one on ebay a little while ago and the guy only lived an hour away so I went over there today and picked her up. I'm sure some of you watched the auction where he only showed 2 pics of the front and pack of the body. I emailed him and asked about more pics and he happily came through with great pics and an excellent description of the guitar as well. I was a little leary as he had no feedbacks but we all had to start somewhere and he was only an hour away.

The guitar is in "like new" condition with only a little 3/32nd size ding on the face of the body. The neck is unbelievable as it's hardly been played. I've been waiting a long time for one of these and finally picked one up.

I have the EMG-T set in a frankentele i built. You can get the tele sound but you can also get a much higher gain tone out of it as well [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] The rhythm pup (FT) which i put in the bridge, is very warm. Sounds kinda wierd in a tele but it gives such a broader range of tones with the 2 together. Plus the covered pups look kinda kool on it. Its a sunburst body and a warmoth maple neck. Check em out...

Nice guitar Dave. I got outbid on a white Model 7 a few days ago. I think it went for $305 no case. Did you get a good deal on your nice sunburst Model 7? I basically wanted the Model 7 for the neck, as it seems that's the only maple fretboard with a reverse headstock that will fit a Model series. Any chance you'd wanna swap that nice maple neck for the rosewood reverse neck on my DR3? hehehe worth a shot...
