• My Firecrackle Model 6

I installed a new Distortion, Lil JB, and Lil 59 in her last night. Gave her a good set up and polishing and Fukk am I in love with this guitar all over again. I bought this thing brand new back in 1988 and she is still in 9.8/10 condition cosmetically but plays 10/10. I have an OFR on order that will complete the upgrades and can't wait to get it. My JT6 is tired. Anyway, just showing her off cause I'm proud of her.

Nice how's the JB jr sound? (You got it in the neck
position?) I have one that I was thinking about using somewhere but I haven't heard it yet.
I just sold my white Model 6 (has on OFR Ouch that one really hurt)
thanks Mr. IRS

Sweet guitar!!! If it sounds half as good as it looks, it's a killer.

I put the JB jr in the mid position and the lil 59 in the neck. The JB sounds great there and the lil 59 rings like a frickin bell. I had never played with a mini humbucker... I am amazed at the tone from these tiny monsters.

nice axe bro. To install the OFR, do you need to replace the entire tremolo system, or just the tremolo bridge? How much does that run you?

I am going to go ahead and replace everything but the nut. Call Matt and get a price for the system if you are interested in doing the same. He's got great prices and is a super nice guy to deal with. I should have her completed in the next couple of weeks.

Better than any other guitar in my group. I am still amazed. EMG's 85 and 81, JB's, OBL's, Gibson Burstbuckers, Ultrasonics, and all the Jackson pickups are second fiddle to this one now. Not sure why, but it just sounds that good. The response is amazing.
