model 1?/model2?

just wondering i always thought i had a model 2
single bridge hum old style charvel logo
kahler bridge/nut
keep seeing same specs described as a model 1 and 2
on ebay all the time any help? thanks

The key differences were the bridge and the fretboard. The Model 1 had a vintage style trem and a maple board. The Model 2 had a locking trem (Kahler in '86, JT-6 in '87 & '88) and a rosewood board.
