Hails Guys. This is my first time here and i´m New in the forum. a friend of mine(Tim Zerbe, Guitar tech in Germany) from S.Duncan Boards told me about the J/C FOrums, so, here am i. I´m J.P, 25 from brazil and like very much Charvel Guitars.
i have a Charvel Fusion Deluxe Loaded with a Hot Rails Neck and a Custom Custom Bridge(Both Seymour duncan ).
and i bought a Ibanez rg 450 ltd made in japan.. but for several reasons, disliked the guitar, BUT i found someone that wanted to trade his CHARVEL with me by my Ibanez. So, i imediatelly Traded it.
i´m just waiting it to arrive to me.

So, i´ll post some pictures of the new guitar here and i´ll be very Pleased if anyone of you could Throw in some info.
the Ex Owner claimed that it is a Charvel with Maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, made in japan, and ASH Body. see thru Red Colour.
Here are the pics.

Hard to tell what it is because it does not follow the info that we have gathered on the imports that were released in the US. It is believed that these were european/import only models. There's another thread in the general J/C about a similar piece.

Looks like a Fusion HH Deluxe to me. Used to have one like it, but with the newer logo.

Serial number says its from around 90-91, but the old logo is a bit unusual.

Very nice guitar though.

Re: Help Identifying a Charvel Model

It was made in Japan. This guitar was not manufactored for the US Charvel market. If it was it would have the fort worth address on the neck plate.
This model was an overseas model, Japan, Europe, Australia? Your guess is as good as any.

Re: Help Identifying a Charvel Model

I said it was a fusion. A friend of mine showed me a website with an identical one, though of course I don't remember which.

Same logo? Did this site mention the scale length?

Nope unfortunately. That was why it was harder to determine, but it did say it was a Fusion. Since we couldn't measure, I just assumed it was indeed one, and that this one is one too
