I'd tell him, but he's not the one desputing what I've posted. Just for the record I'm maintaining a databse of all production models of Jacksons and Charvels. This information was originally compiled by a former Jackson/Charvel employee based on catalogs. While the info is not 100% perfect in it's original form, I am in the process of correcting the information and reconfiguring it to make it available on the site. (don't ask when it will be done) The corrections are being made via one of two ways. 1) catalog listings 2) verified visual evidence.

    allright, cool stuff =)

You said you have the Fusion DLX right?? That should be only a Humbucker and a slanted single coil. With only one volume knob and a 3-way blade switch.

bucker, slanted single coil, 1 volume, 1 tone, 3 way switch and a DPDT on/off switch that supposedly is a boost of somesort.. boosts the upper mids cos it pushes the harmonics out of the pups more, but not really noticeable diferent in sound

    pics can be found Here

          Re: date my charvel fusion

The rainbow-crackle fusion is a DLX but it has been modified. You got an extra knob and a toggle on it as well as new pickups.

The stock pickups for a Fusion DLX are a Jackson J90C USA Humbucker in the bridge and a Jackson J200R Single Coil (Slanted) in the neck.

                  Re: date my charvel fusion

slightly different, his fusion dlx had the 2 knob , active pickups added
and mine not. i still have 1 volume knob, and i just swapped the pickups.

                    Re: date my charvel fusion

                    ok.. cant sleep >.<

took the electronics cavity apart. the size of it is all original, the finish is unaltered inside.
the voluem and tone holes look the same to me (sorry that i cant provide pics) so it had to be a pretty much professional job or someone took real good care that they didnt screw up. and so does the on/off switch hole, which is a tad smaller
                    http://www2.arnes.si/~jengel/Charvel/DSCF0167.JPG

whoever did it, did a great job and saved me from butchering it up =P

the wireing however looks a bit weird to me, but that's prolly cos i didnt install it. and there's one cut wire i cannot trace where it's going. but it will have to wait till tomorrow, cos i'm half asleep here and my fingers hurt

take it easy guys. thanks for all the info
