Well you all know me by now, I'm pretty stupid.
Wow...
I do have the money.
I want it. BAD!
It's horrible guys... VERY horrible... What would you do in this situation? Keep in mind that I love playing but that I'm not great. And I AM looking for a non Floyd guitar. That one is pefect.

Er... about... 140 I guess. Postage would be an extra 50 bucks... So 210 for it I think. 135 pounds.
Would it be wiser to wait a year or so and get the Mexican Tele I want?
Also, I like a neck pickup... How much would a simple routing cost? I can live without it though.

Well, it's a Model 1 to start. The vintage trem makes it so. You're the only one who can decide if it's worth it or not. If you have the money and want the guitar, and you think it's worth it, then you'll be happy. If you think you can get a better deal, then wait a bit. Those guitars aren't rare, but when a good one comes along you had better jump on it.

I told a friend it was a 1, then he showed me a pic of a 1 which had a pickguard and 3 pickups so I thought it was a 2, but I thought the 2 was a one pickup floyd axe... So then he told me he was wrong and... ok no need to justify myself...
They are kinda rare in the UK [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] those who come up most often are the model 4s and I have one, they're more expensive.
Also, bright red, one pickup, 22 frets, and a J90... Van Halen anyone? Damn I like it...

your friends pic was of a Model 1A. There were 3 variations on the Model 1, all with trad trems & maple fretboards.

The 1 had a single hum. The 1A had 3 singles in a pickguard. The 1C had 3 singles, no pickguard.

The Model 1C is H/S/S with no pick guard.

I won't go for it. I'm saving up to go to the US and I promised someone I'd try my best. A new guitar would be totally against it. I'm not even sad, there will be others.
