• Some PICS of my Predator with custom paint.....

Here are a couple shots of my Predator. I didn't paint it myself, this is how it came. It is a competition orange that was smoked with a torch to give it a marble vein texture and then cleared over that. I think it is kinda cool, although quite obnoxious. Let me know what you guys think.

Sleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.

Yeah, it is kinda bowling ball. The marbled texture is actually more pronounced in person, the sun bleached it out a bit.

      $175, can't go wrong!

The front looks like you're looking into a sea of lava, from above! Awesome!

Thanks, they really do play nicely. You can't go wrong with one of these, and they will do more than all out screaming.

Of course, I just broke my third high E in two weeks. I guess it is time for 10s on this guitar. It plays so nice with the 9s setup, I am afraid to change gauges. We will see...I usually play 10s or 11s.

is it breaking in the same place everytime? I've got 9s on a few of my guitars & never break strings. Could be a burr on the saddle, or tuning post, wherever the break keeps happening. Had the same issue with the high E post on my Model 1A, until I identified the problem.

Sounds cool about the torch to get that effect. Welding torch? I guess it's a trial and error thing?

looks great, and yes, the torch is a very old way of adding cool effects to paint. The key is trial and error as mentioned above and using a very "sooty" setting on the torch. I've seen the same effects done successfully with a bic lighter and even just wooden matches. Very Cool-

I don't see any burrs or such. I just break strings because I attack them pretty hard, and bend aggressively. I break the G, B & E relatively often. I put some 10s on it, let's see if those can hold up better.

                          Beautiful guitar!

That's a great look and you dont see it on every other guitar.

                          Sweet job!
