• J- ? Pickups - A bluebook please

Hi, guys, With my import collection ever growing I'm getting confused with the different jackson pickups.
My recent buy has a J-80C in the bridge and what I think says(in handwriting)a J80N in the neck? Whats the letter at the end stand for?

I believe the "N" means "Neck" position.

I believe the "C" stands for ceramic, doesn't it?

EDIT--yes, that's what the manual says. I can read...

B=Bridge
C=Ceramic
N=Neck

No "C" means Alnico magnets.

[ QUOTE ]
B=Bridge
C=Ceramic
N=Neck

No "C" means Alnico magnets.

[/ QUOTE ]

And no "B" or "N" is usually a bridge pup by default

What about the J-85? I got one on ebay for cheap and it sounds pretty good!
