750xl, I finally got one!!! Warning - big pics!

I can't believe I finally got one of these beauty's.
A bit of a story behind this one but I did finally get it.

Was temtped by a red one on Aus ebay not long ago but it was modified(I wanted all original)so i'm glad i held off.

Plays supurb, only has a couple of sratches on it, fret wear is minimal but needs trem setup, inotation done, new strings and general clean.

Serial number is C903915 so i reakon it's slap bang in the middle of the production year as it has Charvel stamped on the Schaller floyd, has the plastic jackson P/U covers and 100% carved out area around the 2 knobs.
Weighed in at 4.12 Kg's.
I going to have to change PUPS to EMG's though(I'm guessing they are J-90's?) I'll soon find out anyway.
I'm in the clouds at the moment!!!!!!!!!

I always liked crazy paint jobs on guitars and I was never a big fan of the wood grains....until I got into the "sport" and came here.

That one is beautiful!!

Nice! I love the 750xl
Now throw a real floyd on there (just my opinion for some reason I'm not a big fan of the Schaller floyd)

Wow, well done, I'd never let my 750 go for that much. Never mind that it cost me a lot more back in 93 or 94. Where did you find it? Did it come with the original Charvel case?

This 750xl was sold on AUS ebay several months ago but I lost the auction [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] however after that I kept in touch with the winner and offered to buy it but he wasn't interested until one day he got a peavey wolfgang and offered the 750xl to me, I jumped at the chance straight away [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]
