Anyone here know what sort of model this is exactly? It's neck thru, two humbuckers, reverse sharktooth inlays, neck/headstock binding, floyd licensed, etc.

That would be the ever elusive, highly sought after Charvel 750.

Some argue that it's the finest Charvel ever made. And they are a bit rare.

yup, 750XL. And as Guitar Crazy themselves state, it's set neck, not neck thru. Short scale too!

Oh ok, cool. Thanks for the speedy responses. Managed to get one for the other guitarist in my band. He paid like A$700 = US$527.963. It's probably a bit on the pricey side, but I said to him that it'd sure as hell be a fine guitar.

Any idea what sort of price these guitars retailed for?

I got one for $730 in mint condition recently.
The original 1989 List Price : 750XL: $1169.95 - 1395.00(figured wood body). This was the highest price charvel.

I was never a fan of that finish myself. Now if I see one in silver sparkle, I'll have to get it to match my 650xl.

I'd love that red one, but I'm on my best behaviour right now. The wife wasn't too happy with me picking up the 550XL, and I've got a few largish bills pushing down on me at the moment. It sucks, but that's life [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
