    I fell in love with a model A

    Today I went to my local guitar shop to see what they had.

    I tried this good looking Blue Red pearl Sl1 they had, but I noticed a model A that was collecting dust in the shop.

    I tried it and it was love at first sight. She is natural but her top seems to not be quilted... more curly, is that normal?

    I gotta admit I love those LiveWire way more that EMG's and they were screaming on that axe.

    The neck felt so good. But the only question I have is that it felt so raw. Is the neck supposed to have any finish on it? At some place on the neck I couldn't really slide my thumb on the neck because it was raw.

    Is it normal?

    Their asking price is 1300$US... a bit high tought.

    I'd say that is a tad high.
    Nice guitar, though.

      Guitars in Canada are way overpriced. But I think I could give this one a chance while I order a my dream Jackson custom shop. But is the raw neck a normal feature or its because it has waited a long time in the shop?

        you can get one for about $500 US on Ebay.

          That is one beautiful guitar. Is that finish satin or gloss? That has a mahogany body under that gorgeous maple top, doesn't it?

              I know I can get one on Ebay for $500 US but I might even buy it, since I like that guitar so much and its a rare one to come by in Quebec. I know its ridiculously overpriced but what i wanted to know first is if the neck is supposed to have any kind of finish on it. That Model A has been over a year in the shop and when i grabbed it I was sweeping the dust over it.

                Yes there is finish on the necks. I give mine a light sanding though.
