Charvel TX Custom info?

Found this hanging in a friend's shop today at a bargain basement price, so I grabbed it. It is a pretty cool and versatile guitar, the push pull tone pot that kicks in the neck pickup is a very nice feature. The ash body is fairly light as well.
Anyone know when about this was made? I know it is MIJ.

They were made from1992-1996. Yours is a TX Custom Trans. Which has an ash body. Original retail price was $795. I had a black TX Custom it was a sweet guitar. Great tone and versatility with the 5way swithch and the push-pull on the tone knob. What did you pick it up for $? Mine was real heavy. The solid color ones had basswood bodies.

Thx for the info. I got it for $175. This one is not very heavy. I may toss some Duncans in it, the Jackson pickups are OK, but could be better.
