I have a charvette, currently my only electric. plays absoutlely great, and some things on it have been upgraded by the previous owner. its white, 22 fret, reverse headstock, vintage tremolo (yuck). but really, its a great guitar and when i go to play some other ones i'm disappointed in them that my $125 charvette's neck plays better.
I bought one on vacation in a pawnshop in San Antonio for $20. Once I set it up, it played nice and it wasn't a bad guitar at all. The pickups sucked, tho. Sold it to a buddy who still plays it.
I have a model RR270, and it was my main guitar for a long, long time, until I started back on my guitar buying binge. It's dayglo orange, and had decent stock hardware, and a truly awesome neck. After serving me well for 6 or 7 years, it now sits in a corner with the Floyd missing (used for another project)
