What size block for Floyd on Model Series?

Is it the 42mm? I tried a 37mm and it still seemed too short. The Jackson block is exactly 1.5 inches, while the 37mm Floyd block is 1.45 inches. Would appreciate any insight. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure it's the 42 mm. But I'd wait until someone else chimes in.

While on the subject, I noticed that the Floyd's spring block screw holes don't line up with that of a Schaller bridge. I know where I can get Floyd blocks, does anyone know where I can get Schaller blocks?

So you're using a schaller plate with a floyd block?
I think it should be the same. Did you try flipping it around?

Well, I have to see by trying this myself. I have a couple schaller plates lying about and a loose floyd block or two.
Floyds are made in Germany by Schaller, so one would think they're the same, unless you have metric and american std being the difference.

Yes, definately post your findings. I was gonna buy a long block for my Charvel branded schaller but now youve got me worried.
