• Need help identifying an old Japanese Charvel

Hi
First of all, sorry for my English, I'm italian

I need help identifying an old Charvel made in Japan.
I bought it from a German guy on eBay.

Here you are some pictures:

The serial number is 360250. The bridge is a Schaller.

Asking around I've been told that this is a Charvel Fusion Custom made probably in 1991, even if the german guy told me that he bought it used in 2000, and the previous owner told him that was from 1995.

Can you confirm something I said?

Anyway, I'd like to know something more about the pick-ups. There's nothing written on them.

Thank you very much

Cheers

Ok I've already done a mistake. I think this topic should be opened in the Import Charvel forum.
Sorry, if is a problem a moderator could move it there.

Cheers

Its a Fusion Custom 24fret short scale length with a J-90C PUP in the bridge and 2 blade single humbucking PUPs in a Platinum finish.
Made from 89-91 I'd say.

Also the humbucker would originally had a cover on it thats been removed.

Silver sparkle is a great color.

Ok guys thank you very much for your replies.
I'm glad you like it

Do you think is a good guitar?

I paid it 230 € (280 $), of course it's not in perfect conditions, but I'd say good conditions (7.5/10).
I'm a beginner...have been playing electric guitar for 8 months (I played acustic guitar for some months when I was 10) and it sounds great to me (playing it on a Peavey Studio Pro 112), but, as I said before, I'm a beginner, not a guitar expert

Cheers

This guitar will last you a lifetime, it's an extremely good guitar. And the price you paid is very nice, especially for being European.
You took too much, man. Too much. Too much.

I have the same guitar! Bought it from Seventh Avenged. It's a keeper! Love the neck! Short scales are really the way for me to go...

That's a pity.
If I would like to bring the guitar to the original conditions...do you think I'll find somewhere the humbucker cover with the Jackson logo?
I've already searched on eBay but nothing.

I'm quite sure someone here will eventually be able to help you on that issue. 100 posts and you can ask that as a WTB in the classifieds.

nice guitar man!
i´m not shure if the cover was removed.
i bought my 375DLX new in 1991 and it also has the J-90 in the neck and there was no cover on the PUP.
even in the catalouge it is pictured with a cover but mine was without the cover.
