Nope, I'm not talking about what flavor soda to have with lunch today. I was curious as to whether Charvel offered a brownish metallic color similar to the black cherry. I have a really clean 1987 Model 5A that has the original finish, but somehow it looks a bit more brown than cherry. Anyone have any knowledge this color?

Re: Black Cherry or \"Root Beer\" Charvel color?
*Any* further info on the 5A would be helpful. There were some responses to my previous request. I'd love to see a catalog scan if anyone has one. The complete list of color availability and list price would be nice to know. I'm guessing that production figures would be out of the question...?

Nice guitars...I'll bet you miss 'em. There's a few guitars I've let go that I wish I never did...
but everybody's got some of those!

Yeah, I do. I actually traded the 6 for the 5A because I really wanted a 1-hum guitar, then after awhile I got bored of it and wanted a neck pup again. Guess I should have just hung onto the 6. Oh well. I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.
