Opinions on the Charvel predator??

It looks like a Schaller trem.

one humbucker, one slanted dual rail single coil
Reverse headstock, toothpaste logo, rosewood board, dot inlays
volume, tone, 3 or 5 way switch??

Are these Japanese? Do they play as well as the model series??

Japanese. Great guitars. I don't know if mine just has extra "mojo" or something...but it is a killer player, I mean killer. Hands down one of the best guitars I have ever owned and I have owned many, many high quality guitars. It kicks the shit out of my new Jackson DK2, I can tell you that much.

I did replace the bridge pickup on mine with a ToneZone though.

Mine has a 3 way switch.

These are some excellent made guitars and more and more are showing up at crazy prices,I've been trying to get my hands on any I come across at a good price.I used to be one of those guys who couldn't stand the toothpaste logo Charvels until I got a 750XL and now its my favorite player.

I love my predator,the neck profile is awesome! Wish I could find more of them!!
