... of a "brown/copperish" finish that would've been on a Model 5. There's one for sale, and the guy described it like that. It's a little over an hour away, so I'd like an idea of what I'm in for [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

<font color="aqua">I'm thinking what the color "may" have been was Black Cherry and had been faded in sunlight. There is no record of a brownish copper color so maybe it was refinned as well. The reason I believe it's the faded black cherry is because I had a Model 4 in black cherry but it truly looked brownish until I removed the Kahler pro tremolo and the original color was indeed, black cherry much like this color (this is a Model 5):

My black cherry Model 5A looks more root beer, and then almost black depending on the lighting. I'd almost call it a flip-flop.

Yeah definitely changes colors in different lightings.
