There was one of those local in LA on Craigslist for $200/chainsaw case. Had I not been committed to buy a Model 5 and a load of other gear this weekend from a guy that just had a baby...i'd have jumped on it!

What year was the Firecrackle finish available in on both the Model 6 & 4's, 1987-88? Also, was it available on the later 475 or 650 Charvels or any other Japanese Charvels.

That kahler/floyd style nut came on the last Model 6 guitars, possibly other model series ones too. A friend has an '89 Model 6 with that nut on it too.

Man, that was ages ago. But thanks! [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] I have to say, the pics I took were with a really bad camera. She looks a lot better than that! It's the right-most guitar in the shots below.





Now can anyone say for sure whether the Floyd nut has been added to this guitar? When did they first start using that nut? My other Model 6 is within a few serial numbers and it has the standard Kahler-behind-the-nut-type-deal.
