I may have to dig up an 88, I never knew they were mahogany. I love the sound of mahogany guitars. What other JC necks would fit that? I'd kinda like one that has shark teeth inlays...

Wow Dave you never fail to impress!!! If the Spectrums had mahogany bodies, (Me thinks they are poplar) they would look sweet with a rubbed oil finish too with the reverse maple neck *drools*

if I ever get an 88, I'm doing that exact thing to it!! They should have come from the factory like that instead!
